Hi Gerry. Hope all is well with you. Interesting to read the comments on managing through a recession. Here in London the current favoured strategy for law firms seems to be to invite lawyers, at all levels, to take 4-day weeks for reduced pay, to reduce the numbers the firms must make redundant. Interestingly, while presumably reluctant to take the pay cut, many lawyers who have opted for this are writing and talking rather enthusiastically about getting their lives back and being able to spend more time with their families and on things other than billing!

Even in the gloomiest times there are benefits, it seems.
