Appreciation as an Action

Appreciation is not assumed — it has to be communicated…  if you think your clients know you appreciate them, ask your self "how would they"…  Make it explicit and you'll separate yourself from the masses !

Appreciation can also be demonstrated on different levels. An average employee will get average recognition from his boss, but an employee that will go beyond the call of duty and have phenomenal skills, generally will be noticed by his employer and will be rewarded with a higher position or a possible raise. When it comes down to your customers, yes everyone should be appreciated and that should be expressed! However, do you really want to express your appreciation the same way for one client that has brought in income of about 5k to your business, compared to that of only 2k. It goes back to the human nature of expectation-when we spend more, we expect more.
